High Level Description

We are looking for a Data Engineer to build and manage the data pipeline (ETL, Data ingest, data transformation, data distribution, quality rules, data storage etc.) for GCP cloud-based data platform. The candidate will be required to possess strong technical, analytical, programming and critical thinking skills.

You should have the skills to enable data-driven decision-making by collecting, transforming, and publishing data. You should be able to design, build, operationalize, secure, and monitor data processing systems with a particular emphasis on security and compliance; scalability and efficiency; reliability and fidelity; and flexibility and portability. A Data Engineer should also be able to leverage, deploy, and continuously train pre-existing machine learning models.

• Design data processing systems
• Operationalize Machine-Learning models
• Ensure solution quality meets requisite standards
• Build and operationalize data processing systems
• Design and operationalize serverless data processing systems
• Create and optimize querying capabilities on very large datasets using Google BigQuery
• Have a working knowledge of different data-integration approaches (e.g. ETL)
