BenefitsSupply Chain Risk Management

It’s unreasonable to attempt to stay on top of every emerging threat, but you can provide effective protection for devices and networks by understanding which risks and vulnerabilities render your organization most vulnerable.

The NetRise Platform empowers users to identify risks in firmware and software components running on their devices in near-real-time.

The platform also:

  • Continuously monitors the National Vulnerability Database (NVD), the CISA Known Exploited Vulnerabilities Catalog (KEV), Threat Actor Groups, BOTNETs, and more
  • Enables adherence to compliance standards such as NERC, NIST, NTIA, FDA, HIPAA, and more
  • Provides holistic risk visibility
  • Creates, ingests, and enriches software bills of materials (SBOMs)

We had no idea [these vulnerabilities] existed in our environment. Yes, our vulnerability trending had a spike, but half the battle is even knowing you had those vulnerabilities in the first place.

The NetRise platform performs all analysis on binary input formats and does not need access to source code.

Analyzing binaries provides a number of benefits, including:

  • Providing the most accurate picture of the software actually running (the final build).
  • Cutting down on false positives that may be identified through source code analysis tools when those artifacts are removed during the build process.
  • Providing a much more holistic view of security posture that goes well beyond software composition analysis, identifying artifacts such as credentials, cryptographic artifacts, misconfigurations, and more.

This analysis can only be accomplished through binary artifact analysis.

The NetRise platform supports a wide variety of operating systems, image formats, file systems, package managers, and more, including the vast majority of embedded Linux and Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS), as well as the most commonly used SBOM formats like SPDX and CycloneDX.

Yes. The NetRise platform is fully equipped with a robust GraphQL API that can integrate with CI/CD processes and other tools you are currently using.

The NetRise platform supports both SPDX and CycloneDX SBOM formats.

Yes, all SBOMs generated provide applicable license information for identified software components.
