What Is NetRise Trace?

NetRise Trace is an AI-powered, intent-driven search capability inside NetRise Turbine that lets analysts query software based on what the underlying code is trying to do — not just keywords or signatures.

Software intent often matters more than software identity. A given function might be implemented in a dozen different ways, but its behavior — what it touches, what it sends, what it controls — is the actual security question. Trace surfaces components based on their underlying motives and behaviors, supporting investigation of vendor claims, unauthorized changes, and capability-based risk that signature-based tools cannot find.
